New Zealand E-Visa User Guide

Introduction

You can use your eVisa to travel to, enter, and stay in New Zealand for the time allowed by your visa. If you are currently outside New Zealand, you may only arrive in New Zealand on or after your visa start date. You need to print your eVisa letter and bring it with you when you travel to New Zealand.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants need to provide a valid passport, evidence of financial support, a travel itinerary, and proof of accommodation in New Zealand. Additionally, applicants need to show proof that they will return to India after their trip.

Documents Required

Passport: Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the date you intend to leave New Zealand.
Digital Photograph: A recent passport-sized color photograph.
Completed Application Form: You can fill out the form online or obtain it from the New Zealand Immigration website.
Proof of Travel Plans: This includes round-trip flight bookings or itinerary.
Proof of Accommodation: Hotel reservations, rental agreement, or a letter from your host in New Zealand.
Financial Means: Evidence that you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in New Zealand, such as bank statements, credit card statements, or proof of sponsorship.
Employment Details: Information about your current employment, including employer's details and proof of leave if employed.
Health and Character Requirements: Depending on your circumstances, you may need to provide evidence of good health and character. This could involve medical examinations or police certificates.
Additional Documentation: Any additional documents that support your application, such as a letter of invitation from a New Zealand host or proof of ties to your home country.

Pay the Fee: You'll need to pay the visa application fee online using a credit or debit card.

Receive Decision: After submitting your application, you'll be notified of the visa decision via email or through the online portal.
Travel with Visa: If your visa is approved, you'll receive a visa label or an approval letter that you should carry with you when you travel to New Zealand.
