Introduction

The Azerbaijan e-visa allows Indian citizens to stay in the country for a maximum period of 30 days. The e-visa is valid for a single entry into Azerbaijan and must be used within the specified validity period, which is usually 90 days from the date of issuance.

Documents Required

  • Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Azerbaijan.
  • Digital Photograph: A recent passport-sized color photograph.
  • Travel Itinerary: Details of your travel plans, including round-trip flight bookings.
  • Proof of Accommodation: Hotel reservations or a letter of invitation if staying with a host.
  • Means of Payment: Credit/debit card for paying the e-Visa fee.
  • Personal Information: Basic personal details such as name, date of birth, address, etc.

Steps to Apply for Azerbaijani e-Visa

  • Visit the Official Website: Go to the official portal for Azerbaijan's electronic visa application (https://evisa.gov.az/en/).
  • Fill out the Application Form: Enter the required personal information and details about your trip.
  • Upload Documents: Upload a digital copy of your passport's biographical page and your photograph.
  • Pay the Fee: Use a credit or debit card to pay the e-Visa fee. The fee amount can vary and should be checked on the official website.
  • Receive Confirmation: After successfully submitting your application and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your e-Visa attached as a PDF file.
  • Print Your e-Visa: Print out a copy of your e-Visa to present upon arrival in Azerbaijan. Alternatively, you can also save an electronic copy on your mobile device.
