A tourist visa was designed by the Colombian government for foreign nationals who wish to spend their holidays in the country. Only applicants 18 years and above can apply for a tourist visa but minors may enter the country but their parents or legal guardians will have to apply for the visa on their behalf.
This visa may be granted to foreigners who wish to enter Colombia for rest or recreation and who require a tourist visa to enter and remain temporarily in Colombia, as established in resolution 5707 of 2008. √ Valid passport or travel document, in good condition and with a minimum of two blank pages.
Tourist visas for Colombia (Type-V) are usually valid for six months and can be used several times. Depending on the itinerary, visas are issued for three months to two years. You can stay for up to 180 days at each visit.
